Is an Epidemiology and Biostatistics specialist, Professor of Public Health and Epidemiology at Ferrara University and Head of the Knowledge Centre at the Local Health Unit of Ferrara. His rese- arch interest ranges from health service research to the study of healthcare performance evaluation. During his professional life he has been involved in the management of a University Hospital and of Emergency and Development interventions in developing countries, of the coordination of National Outcome Programmes and of Regional Hospital Network Planning.
