MD PhD MSc is an infectious disease specialist working in the Department of Public Health and Infectious Diseases of Policlinico Umberto I of Rome / Sapienza University of Rome (Italy). He has been actively involved in the study of global health, emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases and health determinants in mobile and migrant populations for over 20 years. He is the author of over 160 scientific publications on the following topics: STDs, infections in critically ill patients and in special populations (such as migrants), microbiome, multi-drugresistant pathogens, emerging and reemerging infections, public health and global health. He has participated in the drafting of many medical textbooks and books on the subject of health problems connected with migratory phenomena.
